LETS CREATE NEW OPPORTUNITIES TOGETHER

Cascades has always been entrepreneurial at heart and green by nature. Today, we are launching our Innovation Partnership Program, an Open Innovation Initiative that aims to accelerate Cascades’ collaboration with the startup ecosystem in order to find new sustainable and innovative solutions to respond to our fiber sourcing needs and challenges.

Startups with high innovation potential for Cascades will have the chance to participate in a 10-week industry-driven mentorship and coaching program to explore business opportunities and develop a potential commercial collaboration. The Innovation Partnership Program is designed to help entrepreneurs succeed in the industry, by providing resources, knowledge and access to its network of industry-specific experts.

The program culminates on the Cascades’ Internal Business Proposal Day when selected startups will present to key executives a business proposal that has potential to develop a long-term partnership or closing a commercial deal.

Long before sustainable development became fashionable, Cascades was putting it into practice instinctively. Since then, the Corporation hasn't looked back, working continually to improve its environmentally conscious practices.

ABOUT CASCADES

Cascades is a paper and packaging company that produces, converts and sells packaging and tissue products composed primarily of recycled fibres. Established in 1964 in Kingsey Falls, Quebec, the Corporation was founded by the Lemaire brothers who saw the economic and social potential of building a company focused primarily on the sustainable development principles of reusing, recovering and recycling. More than 50 years later, the company employs 11,000 women and men across a network of over 90 facilities in North America and Europe . The Corporation currently operates four business segments: Containerboard packaging, Boxboard Europe, Speciality Products and Tissue Papers.
